Description
58 Princes Street in Ardrossan is a mid-19th century two-storey terrace building, originally designed by the architect Peter Nicholson for Lord Eglinton in 1806. The terrace consists of several blocks, each featuring four windows. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar, with some ground floor pilasters still visible. There is a cill course beneath the first-floor windows, with properties numbered 46-58 having architraved windows with margins, while those numbered 60-70 feature a cornice, blocking course, straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof. Additionally, the buildings at 68-70 have a panelled parapet.
