Description
Winton Buildings is a mid-19th century corner block located on Harbour Street in Ardrossan. The building has two storeys with an attic and features six windows on the north elevation, including one window at a chamfered angle on the west side, and three windows on both the east and west elevations. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar. The north elevation includes shops at ground level that are partly pilastered, with a cornice above the shops and cill margins. There is a cornice and blocking course raised over the chamfered angle, along with three piended canted dormers and a piended slate roof. The east elevation has two pilastered doorpieces and a gablet stack, while the west elevation features three windows on the first floor.
