Description

Mid 19th century. Single storey. Stugged ashlar with

polished margins. 10 close-spaced, hood-moulded, Gothic

sash windows with Y-tracery and lying-panes; pair in shallow

advanced off-centre gable, beneath hood-moulded blind

central oculus and apex stack stump. Gabled, Gothic-arched,

hood-moulded carriageway at left, with chamfered jambs, that

to left more deeply chamfered half its height. Moulded

eaves cornice. Off-centre and right skews have bracketed

skewputts. Slate roof, piended left. Modern single storey,

4-bay, polished grantite Post office to right.
