Description
Rutherford's Shop is a mid-19th century single storey and attic building located at 2 Townhead Street in Strathaven. The structure is made of stugged ashlar with polished long and short quoins and dressings. It features two unequal bays facing Townhead Street, with a recessed door set in a curved angle. The windows are adorned with apron panels, and there is an eaves course and cornice. The roof is piended slate with a canted and piended dormer.
