Description
18, 20, and 22 Common Green in Strathaven is a mid-19th century building featuring two storeys and four bays. The exterior is made of ashlar stone with painted moulded architraves. The central door is flanked by original shop entrances, each with its own central door, and there is a continuous cornice above these entrances. On the first floor, there are four sash windows, each set within architraves. The building has an eaves course and a cornice, as well as a central rectangular wall-head stack on a plinth with scrolled brackets. The roof is covered with slate.
