Description
10 Strait Close in Strathaven is a building from the late 18th or early 19th century. It has two storeys and an attic, with a harled exterior featuring painted margins that are chamfered at the angles below the first storey. The elevation facing the straight close has three bays on the right side, which include two doors and a single window on the ground floor, along with three windows on the first floor, while the left side has a blank wall. The gable facing Kirk Street features two enlarged windows on the ground floor, two on the first floor, and two small windows in the attic. The Main Street side has two irregularly placed windows on each floor. The building has modern skylights, end and ridge stacks, and a slate roof.
