Description

Early 19th century. 2 storeys, set on slope. Elevation to

Kirk Street rendered with painted margins, broad angle

margins, lined as ashlar. Band course at ground floor level.

Central corniced door, altered shop window and door recessed

in angle to left; 3 1st floor sash windows; some 12-pane

glazing survives. Eaves course, cornice, blocking course

and central wall head pediment with apex stack. Elevation to

Wellbrae: 5 bays, 2 in gable at right. Painted rubble

and margins. Off-centre door with tall 6-pane fanlight, shop

door and window to left, 2 sash windows and shop window to

right. 4 1st floor sash windows, and small attic window in

right bay. Eaves course over 3 left bays. End stacks. Slate

roof, piended at north west. One surviving square-plan

painted ashlar gatepier at north west with corniced cap.
