Description

Early 19th century. 3-storey terrace of 3 5-bay units,

southern block stepped curved bay on corner and 5-bay return

to Laigh Kirk Lane. Ashlar. Modern shop fronts at ground; 1st

and 2nd floor windows architraved with bracketted cills those

to 1st also with cornices. 12-pane glazing survives to 2nd.

Eaves band interrupted by architraves. Cornice and blocking

course. Return elevation similar but has later 19th century

windows at ground with elliptically headed architraves. Sashes

with cills to 1st and 2nd floors, 12-pane to 2nd. Corniced

parapet stacks. Slate roof turns corner with axial corniced

stacks.
