Description
This building, located at 8 St Mirren Street in Paisley, dates from around 1875 and is designed in the style of architects Peddie and Kinnear. It is a three-storey and attic bank building with a symmetrical three-bay façade made of ashlar stone. The ground floor has been modernized. The outer bays feature two-storey tripartite bowed oriel windows topped with parapets. There are cill courses on the first and second floors, with moulded strings separating the storeys. The attic contains bipartite windows in the outer gabled bays, which are finialled, and there is a central gabled dormer. The roof is covered with slate.
