Description
5 Old Pier Road in West Loch, Tarbert, is likely an early 20th-century cottage. It features a single-storey design with a central door and three bays. The front and rear walls, as well as the roof, are clad in corrugated iron, while the gables, which are unusually deep, and the end stacks are made of masonry. The roof is tiled. The cottage has a boarded door with a fanlight, which may have been added later, positioned close to the eaves, while the window lintels do not touch the eaves. The windows are 4-pane sashes. An unusual feature of this house is the decorative concrete skewputts.
