Description
The Church of Scotland Manse in Tarbert, Harris, is a missionary manse that was described in 1839 as having been granted by the late proprietor, A N MacLeod. It is situated south-facing, close to the shore above Loch Tarbert and next to the church. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring a gabled centre porch that is probably not original. The exterior is harled with a slated roof, and it has sash windows; only the rear stair window retains its original lying-panes, while the other windows are mostly four-paned. There are end stacks and low gabled outbuildings at the rear.
