Description
The pier at West Loch Tarbert in Harris is likely from the late 18th century or the first half of the 19th century, although it is difficult to date based solely on visual evidence. It is approached from the east by a long stretch of roadway that is supported by a retaining wall at the shoreline. The entire structure is built from rubble, including the decking of the pier.
