Description

The pier at Gardie House in Bressay dates back to the early 18th century but was reworked in the 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble and extends westward from the shore, curving to the south. At the shore, there is a cement-rendered boat-house, and iron rails run from the boat-house to a timber derrick. At the west end of the pier, there are ashlar steps.
