Description

School built subsequent to 1872 Education Act. Single storey, 3-bay near-symmetrical front, timber-mullioned 3-light windows throughout; centre advanced gable, doorway in each re-entrant angle, that to left in pyramid-roofed small square porch.

Rubble-built, squared dressings; window lintels flat brick arches (centre lintel rendered); sash windows, plate glass to front (perhaps astragalled originally), small-paned in end gables. Slate roofs, asymmetrically-placed stacks. Lavatory block to rear looks original, with additions in concrete.

Enclosed by rubble-built playground walls.
