Description
The Parish Church in Leurbost, Lewis, is likely from the late 19th century. It has a rectangular plan with four-bay flanks supported by buttresses and features round-arched openings. The entrance gable includes a stepped three-light window and doorway, both with hood moulds, and there is a belfry at the apex. A small stack is located on the opposite gable, and one long flank has a recessed jamb with another stepped three-light gable window. The walls are finished with modern harl, and the roof is covered with slate.
Inside, the church remains relatively unaltered, showcasing an open-timber roof with main beams resting on corbels, although the vestibule screen may have been added later.
