Description
The memorial cairn at Arnish, Lewis, is believed to have been constructed by the Mathesons of Lewis Castle around 1860. This stone cairn is round-topped, circular in shape, and features a battered design. It commemorates Prince Charles Edward Stuart's visit to this location in 1746 while he was in hiding after the Battle of Culloden.
