School and schoolhouse combined, built subsequent to the 1872 Education Act, (Similar to Cromore School - the latter nearby, but altered) T-plan block, house at the "cross-bar" of the plan, single storey and attic; school is a 3-bay rectangular plan, single storey with lower eaves level but integrated roof (slated) and common ridge level. Harled, projecting cills; small-paned sash windows, single lights or timber-mullioned - tripartites to school flanks. Gabled porch on gable to roadside, its roof carried forward over timber-bracketted belfry. Wall-head and apex stacks; pair axial ventilators over school now cut-down.
