Description

Mid 19th century in appearance (possibly circa 1843); Box-type Gothic church, tall, with lancets throughout, including doorway opening, south flank overlooks Loch Leurbost. Modern dry-dash; gabled slate roof with apex belfry over (east) entrance gable; modern windows, replacing original timber-astragalled glazing.

INTERIOR: gallery on 3 sides, with timber-panelled front and supported on cast-iron columns, upper tier of column support roof. Pulpit with precentor's box, set between two windows on west gable; approached by steps with decorative casti-iron balustrade and delicately-made lamp bracket; elders' box-pews.

Perimeter wall looks modern, but has 19th century cast-iron brackets over gatepiers.
