4 Goathill Crescent, Stornoway, Lewis

This late 19th century villa is an asymmetrical, two-storey, three-bay building located behind an iron-railed boundary wall. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar-rendered dressings and detailing. The villa features plate glass sash windows and deep-eaved slate roofs that have timber bracketing and barge boards. On the right side, there is an advanced gable with a two-storey canted window that curves outward to a square, with the roof centre carried over and finialed. The left bay has mullioned windows and projects outward, while a slated canopy above links it to the gabled bay, creating an open porch at the centre. The boundary wall includes square piers and is topped with decorative cast-iron railings, along with modern gates.
