Description
The Sheiling is a symmetrical villa built in the late 19th or early 20th century, featuring a single storey and an attic with three bays. It is surrounded by an iron-railed boundary wall. The villa has modern windows and a central gabled timber porch, with flanking windows and cast-iron rainwater pipes. There are three gabled attic dormers, with the centre one being slightly smaller and set back. The building retains two tall iron finials. It is harled with rendered margins, has end stacks, and a slate roof. The boundary wall is stepped to follow the slope and is topped with decorative cast-iron railings that exhibit an art nouveau style.
