Description

Fulton House, located at 70 High Street in Fochabers, was built in 1823. It is a two-storey, three-bay house with an additional bay on the ground floor. The building features mixed squared rubble of varying colours, with contrasting tooled sandstone dressings and some painted margins. The entrance is off-centre, and there is a near-centre bipartite window with two-pane glazing and a deep bandcourse. Decorative skewputts and an eaves band enhance the exterior, while the house has coped end stacks, which have been renewed on the west side. The roof is made of local slate and has a stone ridge.
