This is a two-storey, two-bay house built between 1800 and 1820, located on Gordon Street in Fochabers. The exterior is harled with tooled ashlar margins. The entrance, which is recessed and located on the right, features a panelled door topped with a radial fanlight. The house has multi-pane glazing in wide sash windows, with one window on the ground floor and two on the first floor. It has coped end stacks and a slate roof, along with a catslide roof at the rear that includes two substantial gabled dormers.

Inside, the house features a D-ended room on both the ground and first floors, each with panelled dados, window shutters, curved panelled doors, and a built-in round-headed alcove. The beaded panelling includes both rectangular and octagonal panels.

Coped rubble garden walls enclose the property, which faces Gordon Street and extends to the rear along Castle Street.
