Description
Mclure House, located at 4 Bakery Street in Auchencairn, is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house built from painted rubble. The house features a symmetrical front with raised painted margins. All windows are single light, sash and case style with four-pane glazing. The central doorway has a recessed modern partly glazed door. At the rear left, there is a two-storey wing that creates an L-plan layout. The house is topped with sandstone skews, has corniced end stacks, and is covered with slate roofs.
