Captain's Garden, 13 Main Street, including Sea Wall, Isle Of Whithorn

Captain's Garden, located at 13 Main Street in the Isle of Whithorn, is a late 18th century, two-storey and attic, three-bay house. The exterior is made of painted rubble with raised margins and banded angles. The front features three bays, with a central door that has a fanlight above it. To the left, there is a single-storey brick lean-to wing that is obscured by a boundary wall. The right bay contains two single light windows, while the first floor has three windows. All windows are sash and case style with lying-pane, 8-pane glazing.

At the eaves, there are two gabled painted rubble dormers, each with 4-pane sash windows. The house has coped end stacks and slate roofs. The rear elevation facing the street has three windows on the ground floor and one on the first floor, along with a pair of similar dormers.
