Description

  1. 2 storey and attic; 4 bay terraced house. Coursed tooled sandstone with droved dressings; chamfered reveals.

NW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: crowstepped gabled near symmetrical front. Large pane central window to ground (central mullion removed); replacement timber doors with letterbox fanlights to flanking bays; painted sign off centre to left; doorway to outer left; 2 shouldered windows to 1st floor, with cills supported by carved brackets; datestone reading "1879" centred above; round arched keystoned window set in gablehead, cill supported by carved brackets.

SW AND NE ELEVATION: obscured by adjoining terrace.

SE ELEVATION: not seen 1997.

Replacement fixed timber window to ground; 4 pane timber sash and case windows to 1st floor and 2 pane timber sash and case window to gablehead. Grey slate roof with lead ridge; cast iron rainwater goods; central coped polished gablehead stack with circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
