Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan, 1st floor windows with shouldered and chamfered heads, small piended dormerheads breaking eaves. Squared and snecked sandstone, shouldered arch openings, ashlar margins to openings, overhanging eaves.

NE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: stone steps to door to centre, panelled timber door, slated gabled timber canopy with blind timber apex and carved stone brackets; flanking rectangular bipartite windows with stone mullions, shouldered hoodmould to left window, battered blocking course to right window; regular fenestration to 1st floor.

SW (REAR) ELEVATION: irregular fenestration; door off centre right to ground and railed stair window to centre of 1st floor.

SE (SIDE) ELEVATION: irregular fenestration; 2 windows to 1st floor, single to ground.

NW (SIDE) ELEVATION: not seen 2000.

Plate glass upper sashes timber 2-pane lower sashes in windows. Grey slates, lead ridges; coped stacks; cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen 2000.
