Reformed Presbyterian Church Manse, 9 Kenilworth Avenue, Wishaw

The Reformed Presbyterian Church Manse, located at 9 Kenilworth Avenue in Wishaw, is a later 19th-century building. It is a two-storey structure with a rectangular plan and three bays. The first-floor windows feature shouldered and chamfered heads, and there are small piended dormerheads that break the eaves. The exterior is constructed of squared and snecked sandstone, with shouldered arch openings and ashlar margins around the openings, as well as overhanging eaves.

On the northeast (principal) elevation, there are stone steps leading to a central door, which is a panelled timber door. Above it is a slated gabled timber canopy with a blind timber apex and carved stone brackets. Flanking the door are rectangular bipartite windows with stone mullions; the left window has a shouldered hoodmould, while the right window features a battered blocking course. The first floor has regular fenestration.

The southwest (rear) elevation displays irregular fenestration, with a door located off centre to the right at ground level and a railed stair window at the centre of the first floor.

The southeast (side) elevation also has irregular fenestration, featuring two windows on the first floor and one on the ground floor.

The northwest (side) elevation was not visible in 2000.

The windows have plate glass upper sashes and timber two-pane lower sashes. The roof is covered with grey slates and features lead ridges, coped stacks, and cast-iron rainwater goods. The interior was not seen in 2000.
