St Mary's Church, Church Of Scotland, Grey's Place, Lybster

St Mary's Church, a Church of Scotland located on Grey's Place in Lybster, was built in 1836. The church is constructed from coursed rubble, with the west gable rendered and lined to resemble ashlar. It features a pointed-headed entrance in the west gable, which includes a fanlight with intersecting tracery. This entrance is flanked by blind pointed-headed windows, with smaller similar windows above. The flanks of the church have three long windows, along with smaller gallery windows, all showcasing intersecting multi-pane glazing. At the apex of the west gable, there is a bellcote, and the church has a slate roof. The entrance is complemented by rubble gate piers that are flanked by cast-iron railings and a coped rubble wall enclosing the property. Inside, the gallery has been sealed off, and the ground floor has been cleared.
