Description

This is a mid-19th century, two-storey and attic dwelling house, originally four bays wide. It is constructed of coursed rubble with tooled dressings and features an alternate band of granite and whinstone. The post office entrance is located on the left-hand side, with the flanking windows having been enlarged and re-aligned. Two modern dormers have been added to the roof, along with ridge and end stacks. The roof is tiled. The building is listed for group value only. The statutory address is Lybster Main Street, (Grey Place), Post Office and “Greymouth”.
