Description
This is a mid-19th century terrace of buildings on Lybster Main Street, also known as Grey Place. It comprises numbers 2 and 8, each with two bays, and number 9, “Shangri-La,” which is a single four-bay dwelling that was formerly two separate dwellings. The construction is of coursed rubble, except for number 2, which is rendered with contrasting painted margins. The buildings retain some original 12-pane sash windows and have Caithness slate roofs with ridge and end stacks. The street numbers refer to those recorded in the Valuation Roll.
