Description
Snizort Free Church, located in Skeabost, Skye, was built in 1847. It is a plain rectangular church with crowstepped gables, oriented southeast to northwest. The exterior is made of whitewashed rubble and features five buttressed bays on the sides, each with triangular-headed lancet windows. The southeast gable has a round-headed entrance, small flanking windows, and three lancets above, along with a bellcote. The northwest gable has two triangular-headed lancets, all fitted with lying-pane glazing. The church has a slate roof. Inside, there is a simple galleried layout, with some stencil decoration on the gallery, and all the fittings are original.
