Description
The Free Church in Lonmore, Skye, was built between 1843 and 1845. It is a simple rectangular church constructed from whitewashed coursed rubble and is oriented roughly east to west. The entrance is located at the center of the west gable, which features round-headed windows above, with later 19th-century glazing. Each side of the church has three long round-headed windows that include contemporary Y-tracery glazing. The church has a finial at the apex of the west gable and a slate roof. Inside, there is a simple galleried interior dating from 1843 or shortly thereafter.
