Description
The Free Church in Raasay, built around 1845-1850, is a simple rectangular church oriented roughly east to west. It features harled rubble with tooled dressings. The east gable has an entrance porch, which includes a pointed window and a bellcote above. Each side of the church has two large pointed windows with intersecting Y-tracery. Inside, the church has a simple galleried layout with bowed ends to the gallery, and it retains original fittings, including brass oil lamps mounted on wrought iron stalks. The roof is made of slate.
