Description

James Gillespie (Graham), 1800. Additions, 1839. Additions

and repairs, Alexander Ross, 1872. T-plan church, harled with

ashlar margins. Main rectangular body orientated east/west

with 1839 addition to north, and Minister's room and entrance

projecting centre south. 2 long pointed windows in south

elevation; ground and gallery windows to north. All windows

with ashlar margins, those in oldest part of church with

impost blocks.

Pointed headed doorway with fanlight in centre north gable;

square headed doorway also centre east gable. Gothic glazing

with intersecting astragals; Bellcote (1872) at apex of east

gable. Slate roof.

Interior: simple galleried interior of good quality; original

pulpit and sounding board.
