Description
Balnacoil Lodge is a late 19th century, asymmetrical two-storey double pile shooting lodge. The exterior features slate hanging and a double-gabled east facade, which has canted ground floor windows that are overhung at angles by a jettied first floor. There is a lean-to entrance porch on the north gabled elevation. The south elevation is also asymmetrical, with a slightly jettied first floor that includes three windows rising through the wallhead in the gables. The windows are mainly bipartite and tripartite with two-pane glazing. The building has coped ridge stacks and a contrasting banded slate roof.
