Description
Lochnagarry is a two-storey house dated 1868. It is an asymmetrical building with a prominent central wing and a single-storey gabled porch projecting from the southeast re-entrant angle. The exterior is constructed of tooled grey rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. A projecting canted window rises through both the ground and first floors, topped with a facetted slated roof, on the south gable. Two first-floor windows break the wallhead as gabled bipartites. The windows have two panes of glass. The roof is covered in fish-scale slates, with coped end stacks. A later canted conservatory abuts the east gable. An outbuilding sits to the rear, its gable hung with chequered slates—grey slate and green Cumbrian slate. Rubble garden walls are coped. A datestone is present on the porch.
