Description
This is an earlier 19th-century building, originally two dwellings of 2 and 3 bays, now serving as a Clydesdale Bank. It is two storeys and an attic in height, with five bays overall. The exterior is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted, tooled dressings. An entrance is positioned in the outer left bay, and another, the centre door of the original three-bay house, is on the right. The ground floor features three enlarged modern windows, while the first floor has five regular windows, grouped in threes and twos. There are two original piended dormers, along with two enlarged, also piended, dormers. The windows are predominantly 12-pane sash windows. The building features corniced end and ridge stacks, and a slate roof.
