Description

The Hollies is a house dating from the 1840s and 1850s. It is a two-storey building with a symmetrical, three-bay south-facing street facade. The walls are harled with ashlar margins. The central bay of the south front is slightly advanced, featuring ground and first floor windows and an apex stack. The outer bays have similar fenestration, and the ground and first floors of the west gable also have windows. A lower, two-storey, two-bay rear wing is present, with a gabled porch in the re-entrant angle. The windows have 12 panes of glass. The building features corniced end stacks and a slate roof with projecting eaves. A drystone garden wall is also present.
