Description
Hope Lodge is a shooting lodge built around 1870. It is a 2-storey structure with an asymmetrical gabled design. The exterior is hung with slate and features painted timber margins. The roof sweeps over verandahs on three sides of the main block, supported by timber posts with brackets. At the southwest angle, there is a 2-storey canted window, and the glazing is mainly 2-pane. The building has a coped bull-faced rubble wallhead and end stacks, with slate roofs that have projecting eaves.
