Description
The Ardgour Hotel is an early 19th-century building that has undergone various alterations and extensions. It is a two-storey, six-bay structure with double gables, facing east, and has additions to both the north and south. The exterior is finished in white harling, accented with contrasting painted tooled ashlar margins. The main façade features grouped fenestration in two sections of three bays, with an off-centre projecting gabled porch that conceals the entrance. The windows have two-pane glazing. There is a single-storey rubble range with a gable on the east side of the south gable, as well as a further single-storey and attic, three-bay addition with significantly altered fenestration set back at the north gable. The building has end and ridge stacks and is topped with slate roofs.
