Description
The lighthouse at Corran Point was designed by engineers David and Thomas Stevenson in 1860. It is a short, circular structure that is finished in white harling with contrasting painted ashlar margins. The entrance is located on the east face of the lighthouse. A corbelled balcony wraps around the top of the building, featuring a cast-iron balustrade. At the top, there is a domed light fitted with lattice glazing.
