Description
This electricity substation, located on West Regent Street in Glasgow, dates from around 1835. It is a three-bay, three-storey building with a basement, designed in a classical terraced style. The structure is made of ashlar stone and features a basement band course. The ground floor has openings with cornices, and there is a left entrance that is accessed by steps, which oversails the basement area. The windows are sash and case, set within architraves. The first floor has a cornice, while the second floor's windows are arranged in a 2-3 pattern, with moulded cills and aprons, topped by a cornice.
