Description
Ailsa Court is a commercial building located at 117, 121, 119, and 123 West Regent Street in Glasgow, dating from around 1830. It is three stories high with a basement and features a six-bay façade made of painted ashlar. The central entrance, which is accessed by steps that extend over the basement, is highlighted by a portico supported by Corinthian columns on a pedestal. The doorway is recessed, arched, and has a keyblocked design. The basement shop includes a cornice fascia supported by consoles, while the ground floor has a corniced appearance and the second floor features a cill band. The windows are sash and case style, set within architraves. The building is topped with an eaves cornice and a blocking course.
