105, 107, 109 Mid Street, Keith

This building, located at 105, 107, and 109 Mid Street in Keith, dates from the later 19th century and is a three-storey, seven-bay commercial structure featuring shops on the ground level. The façade is made of tooled ashlar with polished ashlar dressings and rubble flanks. The outer angles and central bays are accentuated by pilasters that are channelled at the ground level and panelled above, topped with domed caps at the outer angles. The central entrance is round-headed with keystones and a consoled cornice, flanked by early 20th century shop fronts.

On the first floor, the windows have stilted, keystoned shallow segmental heads supported by pilasters, with blind narrow outer panels. The second floor windows are similarly detailed but are set into pedimented dormer heads, featuring a central single window with an arch-linked apex stack, flanked by two bipartite windows. The building has two-pane glazing, coped end stacks, and a slate roof.
