Description

Cuthill House is an early 19th century, two-storey and attic house built over a raised basement. It features a four-bay south-facing facade made of tooled ashlar, with a rubble return gable to Land Street and polished ashlar dressings. The entrance is off-centre and has a recessed pediment supported by Roman Doric columns in antis. There is a deep band course that also serves as a basement lintel course. The house has four-pane glazing, two modern swept dormers, and the ground floor and diminutive attic windows on the Land Street return gable are blocked. The building has coped end stacks and a slate roof.
