Description
8 Reidhaven Square is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house that faces Reidhaven Square. It has a fourth bay at the east, which is the return gable of Nos 50 and 52 Mid Street, also a four-bay structure. The exterior is made of coursed tooled rubble with tooled and polished ashlar dressings and margins.
The main entrance of No 8 features a central door with a corniced and pilastered doorpiece, and the windows have 12-pane glazing. The house has end and ridge stacks and a slate roof. There is a wing at the rear.
Nos 50 and 52 Mid Street share similar building materials. The ground floor has irregular and later fenestration, including two doors and five enlarged windows, while the first floor has four windows with 12-pane glazing. The ground floor features varied glazing. This building also has end and ridge stacks and a green felt tile roof.
