Description

Early 19th century with later alterations. Single storey with basement, 2-bay classical terraced house, now subdivided. Polished ashlar at ground, droved ashlar at basement. Band course between basement and ground, cornice and blocking course.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 7 steps with original plain cast-iron handrails to pilastered and corniced raised doorpiece with deep-set panelled door to outer left, radial rectangular fanlight above. Later canted full-height painted timber window at bay to right. Door at basement level to extreme left, as entrance to basement house.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen, 1994; extension to left.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, rendered and coped mutual stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1994.

BOUNDARY WALL: rubble with coping with cast-iron railings.
