Description

Early 19th century with later alterations. Single storey with basement, 3-bay classical house. Finely droved ashlar, polished ashlar dressings, lined rendering to basement, rubble blank side elevations. Band course between floors, cornice blocking course and raised quoins.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 3 bays grouped to left; steps with original cast-iron balusters and handrails to Ionic pilastered doorpiece with advanced tablet above cornice and modern panelled door; plate glass rectangular fanlight. Windows to each floor of flanking bays.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen, 1994; extension at bays to centre and right.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows to ground floor; 8-lying-pane timber sash and case windows to basement. Grey slate piended roof with wallhead rendered stacks to side elevations.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1994.

BOUNDARY WALL: harled with coping. Original short cast-iron railing to basement area.
