Description

Early 19th century. Single storey with basement, 2-bay classical terraced house, subdivided into 2 houses. Painted polished ashlar, painted droved ashlar to basement. Band course between basement and ground, cornice and blocking course. Architraved windows.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: steps with original cast-iron handrail to pilastered and corniced door to outer left with deep-set panelled door and radial rectangular fanlight above. Window to right of door at basement level; window in bay to right at ground. Door to extreme right, at basement as entrance to lower house.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen, 1994.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; rendered mutual stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1994.

BOUNDARY WALL: rubble with coping.
