Description
22 Regent Street is an early 19th-century, single-storey terraced house with a basement, featuring later alterations. The building has a painted render finish on the ground floor and droved ashlar on the basement. There is a band course between the basement and ground floor, along with a cornice and blocking course. The windows are architraved.
The principal elevation is asymmetrical and includes four concrete steps leading to a pilastered and corniced doorpiece at the center. The entrance features a deep-set panelled door with a plate glass fanlight above it. There are windows on each floor of the flanking bays.
The northwest (rear) elevation is not visible as of 1994. The house has plate glass timber sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slate, featuring an extended rendered stack on the left and a coped and rendered stack on the right.
The boundary wall is rendered with coping.
