13 Rosefield Avenue, Portobello, Edinburgh

13 Rosefield Avenue is an early 19th-century, single-storey terraced house with a basement, featuring three bays in a classical style. The exterior is made of finely droved ashlar, which is now badly weathered, with polished ashlar dressings and rubble at the rear. There is a band course between the ground floor and the level above, along with a moulded impost course, cornice, and blocking course. All openings are set within segmental-arched recesses.

On the northwest elevation, the bays are grouped to the left. There are four steps leading to a deep-set panelled door at the centre, which has original plain cast-iron handrails and a rectangular fanlight with plate glass above. The flanking bays contain windows, and there are vents to the basement. To the right, there is a recessed wall linking to No 15, featuring a moulded string course, cornice, and blocking course, with a panelled door at the lower ground level.

The southeast elevation is not fully visible as of 1994. The house has four-paned timber sash and case windows and a slate piended roof, with rendered and coped wallhead stacks on the side elevations.

The boundary walls are squared render with coping at the front.
